Jose "Eddie" Montoya

While pursuing an education, Jose “Eddie” Montoya got a job washing dishes, not knowing that he would stay with the company for 50 years. Backed by an Associate’s degree from 1971, he has since climbed up the ladder at Endura Associates Inc. DBA, Golden Pride Chicken, where he now excels as a general manager. In his role, he oversees four different restaurant locations with more than 200 employees. Demonstrating proficiency in all aspects of his profession, ranging from his daily administrative duties to customer service, Mr. Montoya aims to continue rising within the company.

Recognized for his leadership and abilities, Mr. Montoya has been honored as Manager of the Year and General Manager of the Year by the New Mexico Restaurant Association, of which he is a member. Simply put, he attributes his success to having a good boss, his own hard work and treating everyone fairly. Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Montoya is involved with many international organizations as a missionary, including Road Runner World Missions, which opened a college in India that graduates more than 100 students every year.
